What are post-therapy subscriptions?
Post-therapy subscriptions allow for continued support of members after regular therapy ends, helping reinforce therapeutic guidance without ongoing sessions.
How does HelloSelf support post-therapy subscriptions?
HelloSelf uses Companion to help members apply what they’ve learned in therapy, while you provide light-touch, asynchronous clinical oversight.
What is the therapists role for subscriptions?
Therapists review each member’s progress (within the HelloSelf platform) asynchronously once a month, providing guidance, encouragement, and identifying when additional support may be helpful.
How much time does post-therapy oversight take?
Around 10 minutes per member per month, making it easy to extend care without adding significant workload.
How much do I earn from post-therapy subscriptions?
You earn £20 per member per month for your ongoing clinical oversight.
Does this replace therapy sessions?
No. Post-therapy subscriptions are designed to support members after regular sessions end, not replace clinical treatment. You can recommend booster sessions or a return to therapy at any time.
What happens if a member needs more support?
Subscription members should be sub-clinical, however if a member would benefit from additional input, you can recommend discounted* booster sessions or transition them back into regular therapy.
*members get 10% discount, however therapists can add the member as their own to benefit from the AXA or self pay pricing.
What If I feel my member needs another therapist/modality can I rematch them?
Yes if you feel the member requires ongoing sessions but that you may not be the best clinical fit now, complete the rematch form and then team can manage this with the member
Are post-therapy subscriptions suitable for all members?
They are suitable for members nearing the end of therapy or who have completed regular sessions and would benefit from ongoing reinforcement and accountability.
Do I have to offer post-therapy subscriptions to all members?
No. You decide which members are clinically appropriate and when to introduce post-therapy support.
How and when do I get paid?
Subscription income is paid monthly, giving you predictable, recurring revenue beyond session-based work.
Would a member's PMI pay for subscriptions?
No at this stage subscriptions are self pay only.
What happens if I review and a member has not completed any information?
Therapists will review Subscriptions from the above window in the HelloSelf platform. If the member has completed a conversation with the Companion since their last review, and is/is not engaging with the platform you can review that here too. e.g if the member has not done anything the engagement score would be low, in this instance we recommend reaching out to them to remind them via messaging to see that they're on track or want a booster session
Can a member pause a subscription and come back in a few months time?
Yes members can pause or cancel at any point
Are subscriptions available for all members?
Currently we are not able to offer subscriptions to NHS members as they need to follow a consolidation period for 6 months after treatment.
